I always knew I wanted to work for myself. I was raised by parents who ran their own businesses, so I grew up watching what real hard work and independence look like.
Years ago, I was working a job that made me miserable. One day I came home and told my wife I had quit — and she was six months pregnant. It was terrifying, but it was the first real step toward building something of my own.
My first job was a small paint project, but it lit a fire in me. I knew I wanted to create work I could be proud of — something my daughter would one day see and recognize as her dad’s craftsmanship.
That’s why I started Saylor’s Home Services, named after my daughter, Saylor.
Almost ten years later, I’m still doing what I love: building, improving homes, and taking pride in every project I put my hands on. This business isn’t just my job — it’s my legacy.
